This incredible event offers free entrance to the public, as well as waived winter access fees. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to explore the beauty of Ponderosa State Park while enjoying the exhilaration of skiing and snowshoeing. To participate in the free lesson and rental package, pre-registration is required. Choose from a range of time slots for both cross-country skiing and snowshoeing lessons. Cross-country skiers have the option of selecting a classic or skate style lesson. If you're new to cross-country skiing, we recommend starting with the classic style. All rentals are returned at the end of the lesson. The lessons and tours will take place at the Ponderosa State Park Activity Center, where you'll meet your expert instructors. Please note that registration for lessons and tours will close on January 5th at 3 PM. Ensure you secure your spot by registering in advance at the designated site.
