Design
The first festive linoprint workshop has sold out in a flash, so we've put another one on! Learn the art of lino and poly printing with artist and tutor Becca Smith. In this fun festive session, you'll design and carve your very own lino or poly block, then print your own cards (or picture to take home and frame) to keep for yourself or give as a gift. This workshop is ideal if you’re stuck for gift ideas or are looking for a new hobby that you can do at the kitchen table. You'll also take your block away, so you can print more cards at home! Suitable for complete beginners and children aged 10+, as well as those who've printed before. Becca will be on hand to assist with design advice and inspiration. All materials are provided for you to print your own artworks and greetings cards. Aprons are provided but this is a messy workshop, so please don't wear your best clothes! Experience a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in our spacious cafe and studios at Stockport Hat Works. Enjoy the freedom to express yourself and feel the benefits of creativity, connect with fellow art enthusiasts, and take home something to be proud of. Our workshops are inclusive and supportive, providing space to grow and learn together. Whether you're an experienced artist or taking your first steps, we welcome all abilities. Whilst visiting the centre, you are welcome to buy drinks and snacks from the Hat Works Café and view our current exhibitions. Before booking, please read our refund and cancellation policy here: https://arc-centre.org/book-a-workshop Click here to see our visitor and parking information https://arc-centre.org/visit-us This project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
