Join Verity B. for an exciting workshop on handstands in Cambridge. This workshop is perfect for beginners and those who are already on their handstand journey. Handstands are highly sought-after skills in gymnastics and bodyweight training, and they serve as the foundation for many other floor skills. In addition to being a fun skill to train, handstands also demonstrate excellent strength, flexibility, and body control.
During this workshop, Verity will cover various aspects of handstands, including prepping the body and improving mobility, achieving correct alignment, controlling the entry into a handstand, safely bailing out of a handstand, finding the balance point, and enhancing strength and endurance through drills. Verity believes that anyone can achieve a handstand with the right coaching, and she has been teaching handstands since 2014.
The workshop will take place at Lift Fitness in Cambridge on April 20, 2024. Spaces are limited to ensure personalized attention for each participant.
