Okinawa Ocean Expo Park is located near the incredibly popular Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, covering a vast area. A fireworks display is held here in mid-July, one of Okinawa Prefecture's largest summer events. The fireworks take place over the open sea, launching more than 10,000 fireworks. The fireworks burst across the horizon, and their reflections on the water are equally spectacular, illuminating the Okinawan night with vibrant colors. An open-air concert is held at sunset before the fireworks display, with energetic music further enhancing the atmosphere and preparing the audience for the spectacular fireworks. The date for the 2026 Okinawa Ocean Expo Park Fireworks Display has been set for July 4, 2026.

The Sydney French Open is a tennis competition and fundraising event open to anyone who can hold a racket in Sydney. This 11th anniversary edition will take place at the Eastside Tennis Centre in Kingsford on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2024. The charity coordinator and her team of volunteers provide a wide range of services to families affected by cancer including emotional and logistic support which helps make the kids’ day to day life at the hospital a bit easier. Session 1 - 1pm - Beginners/ 0 experience - lets build your confidence Session 2 - 2pm - Novice/ some / very little experience - you got confidence you just need to learn some skills Session 3 - 3pm - Intermediate / Advanced - you got the sills and the confidence you just want to learn new skills and jump big The workshop sessions would be open to any participant over the age of 6. Freestyle Now will be hosting FREE pop up BMX / Mountain bike jumping coaching session at Poolgarla Park in Kings Park. Freestyle Now will be bringing our small coaching air bag jump for participants to use during the three 50 minute sessions. Participants in BMX and mountain bikes will be able to learn new tricks or get advice on tricks and gain new confidence levels but most of all everyone can have a stack of fun. These workshop sessions are more than just helping teach skills. These workshops are fun, informative and motivational. The squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues. Equipment is checked prior to the participant’s involvement to make sure that it is in a safe condition and minor repairs or adjustments can be made if necessary. We do, however, reserve the right to not permit a participant to attend the workshop if we feel that their equipment does not meet safety requirements. The 42nd Onna Matsuri will be held again this year at the Onna Village Community Plaza on Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12, 2025. The 11th Churaumi Fireworks Display will conclude the festival at 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 12! The Onna Matsuri is a community-based summer festival held annually at the Onna Village Community Plaza in Onna Village, located on the west coast of Okinawa Main Island. Held annually at the Onna Village Community Plaza, it is Onna Village's largest event. The festival opens at noon on the first day, Saturday, October 11. Activities include a fruit grab, an elementary and junior high school student art exhibition, and a "Friendship City Specialty Fair." Following the opening ceremony at 3:30 PM, a special stage will host a variety of performances, including live music, rural folk performances, EISA dance performances by the Youth Association, and dance performances. Sunday, October 12, features a fun-filled "Fish and Fruit Catching Contest." This event is a favorite among children every year. After the opening ceremony at 3 pm, you can enjoy hero performances, raffles, live music and other exciting activities on a special stage.

This event will be held on the beautiful beaches of Onna Village, one of Okinawa's premier resorts. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, and a 15-minute fireworks display will illuminate the night sky and sea of Onna Village. The fireworks display will begin at 8:00 PM, creating a dazzling display of light and sound across the autumn night sky. On the day of the event, a "fish and fruit catching" activity will begin at 2:00 PM, and a stage performance will begin at 3:00 PM.

Okinawa Prefecture's largest festival, Ginoza Village, is bustling with activity, stalls, and fireworks. Live music, local performing arts, hero shows, children's dances, Eisa dances, and other exciting performances are on display. Besides the stage, there are also various experience stalls and food stalls. The festival concludes in the evening with the Ginoza Village Formosa Fireworks Festival, which features approximately 1,000 fireworks.
