Letters Aloud: Thanks but No Thanks
The greatest rejection letters EVER! Get ready for an unforgettable experience with Letters Aloud: Thanks, But No Thanks! This show takes you on a rollercoaster journey through the world of rejection – showing how the path to success is often paved with failure. You'll hear the real words of iconic figures as they faced setbacks, including Andy Warhol, who was politely told to pick up his painting before it was tossed, and a young Sidney Poitier, who boldly asked President Franklin Roosevelt for a $100 loan (spoiler: Roosevelt said no!). It's a blend of history, humor, and hope that will leave you inspired and entertained. Don't miss the chance to hear these incredible tales straight from the personal letters of some of history’s most legendary (and notorious) personalities. Since 2013, Paul Morgan Stetler’s genius has been bringing the intimate, revealing letters of history's most fascinating figures to life. Letters Aloud has been thrilling audiences across the country with stories that are not only thought-provoking, but downright hilarious and heartwarming.
