Yokohama Hakkeijima Ocean Park will host a 19-day "Fireworks Symphony" fireworks display from May 30, 2026 (Saturday) to March 21, 2027 (Sunday). This unique fireworks show, created by the ocean park, uses digital control, with the fireworks synchronized with the music to an accuracy of 0.1 seconds. Approximately 2,500 fireworks will be launched over 10 minutes. The fireworks dance to the music, shining and leaping in the night sky, leaving behind a magnificent trail.

Yokohama Bay Area will host the summer illumination event "Night of Lanterns" from May 30th to September 23rd, 2026. Now in its seventh year, "Yokohama Night of Lanterns" has become a popular summer tradition in Yokohama. The event venue recreates the streetscape of Hoi An, Vietnam, creating a dreamlike space full of exotic charm, making visitors feel as if they are in a foreign land. To celebrate the museum's 20th anniversary, the number of lanterns decorating the museum has been significantly increased, reaching a record high of 1,000. This year's event is even more spectacular than ever before, with additional photo spots added to the main plaza and three other locations within the museum. These brightly colored lanterns, all handcrafted by Vietnamese artisans, will bring dazzling light to the entire venue. A new highlight is the approximately 4-meter-high "Lantern Cube." Stepping into this space surrounded by lanterns, one is immersed in a magical experience of interwoven light and shadow. In addition, a brand-new photo spot has been set up, inspired by the lantern stalls on the streets of Hoi An. Besides last year's popular Ao Dai dress-up experience and round-trip ticket raffle in partnership with Vietnam Airlines, this year's event also features a variety of programs, including a lantern painting experience for the whole family, and a special "Adult Night" program designed specifically for adults, allowing them to comfortably enjoy the evening.

The Atsugi Sakayo Festival, centered around Hon-Atsugi Station, is one of Kanagawa Prefecture's 50 best festivals. The two-day grand fireworks display (approximately 10,000 fireworks), parades, dance competitions, and other activities involving citizens are the highlights of the festival. The grand fireworks display at the confluence of the Sagami Three Rivers brings the festival atmosphere to a climax, attracting over 500,000 spectators annually.

The "2026 Fujisawa-Enoshima Fireworks Festival," the most representative autumn event in the Shonan region, will be held on Saturday, October 17th. The fireworks display will be launched from the sea near Katase Beach (using barges). Approximately 1,000 fireworks will be launched starting at 6:00 PM and completed within 30 minutes. The largest fireworks are 20-inch projectiles, reaching a height of approximately 500 meters and having an blast radius of approximately 240 meters.

Enjoy the "flowers blooming in the night sky" at Yokohama Port. Throughout the year, including winter, the night sky around Yokohama Port is briefly illuminated by fireworks, especially on weekends. Near Yokohama Port (Minatomirai, Osanbashi Pier), the Yokohama Night Flowers Festival is a five-minute fireworks display.
