The grand finale fireworks display at the Fuefuki City Summer Festival, held in the Ishiwa Onsen area of ​​Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, features a spectacular display of over 10,000 fireworks launched simultaneously. With the launch site and audience seating very close together, you can experience the breathtaking feeling of being under a dome of fireworks. Because spectators carry stalks of irises (reeds symbolizing sacredness) as the shrine procession circles the Takamagahara grounds, the festival is called the "Iris Festival."
