Kobe Suma Imperial Villa Park will host a spring rose viewing event from May 1st to June 7th, 2026. The park features three rose gardens: the "Royal Rose Garden," the "Rose History and Culture Garden," and the "World Hall of Fame Rose Garden," with approximately 300 varieties and 4,000 rose bushes in full bloom, creating a beautiful scene. The gardens are open from 8:00 AM on weekends, allowing you to enjoy the fragrant roses in the fresh morning air.

The Hirosaki Night Festival illuminates the summer nights of Tsugaru with approximately 70 floats of varying sizes, including fan-shaped floats decorated with ornate and colorful samurai paintings themed around "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and "Water Margin," parading through the city accompanied by shouts of "Ya ya ya!" "Hirosaki Neputa in Kobe 2026" is a public relations event held annually since 2022 to attract tourists from the Kansai region; this year marks its fifth edition. The festival features Nipta music performances, a nighttime illuminated Nipta float exhibition, and a Nipta parade, as held last year as well. The Xiang Sheng Pei Long Festival is a major event in the Fanzhou region to welcome the early summer. Held annually on the last Sunday of May in Xiang Sheng Bay, it features a variety of activities including Pei Long boat races and a land parade. Everyone is welcome to participate. The 2026 Xiang Sheng Pei Long Festival will be held on May 30th (Saturday), with a pre-festival fireworks display at sea; the official opening ceremony will be held on May 31st (Sunday), including both sea and land activities. **Sea Fireworks Display:** May 30th, fireworks launch time: 19:50-20:40, number of fireworks: 5000 (including ground and aerial fireworks) **Land Parade:** May 31st, 9:50-15:00. Hira Ryusho Race, May 31stThe Aioi Hira Ryusho was introduced in 1922 by an employee of the Harima Shipyard in Nagasaki Prefecture. Today, the "Hira Ryusho Race," a maritime event of the "Aio Hira Ryu Festival," continues to this day, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2022. One hundred years after its birth, these boats will compete in a spectacular race on the water, carrying this tradition into the next 100 years.
