Whether you have experience in playing football/walking football or are new to the game, this group welcomes all women interested to have a go. Sessions are free and take place on a 5-a-side pitch inside the Riverside Leisure Centre in St.Thomas.

About the event Tuesday 28 January 2025 - 4 March 2025: 7 - 9pm Come along and experience a safe, supportive stand-up comedy course with others, where you will learn the art of creating and performing comedy at your pace, and in your own unique style. Description During this stand up comedy course, you will develop material and learn how to maximise its comic potential. This course is for performers and non-performers, and can particularly support public speaking skills, along with: Resilience, improve mental health, confidence and professional leadership, and it's fun - and funny! You are given ongoing, supportive feedback to help you edit and hone your writing and speaking skills. INCLUDED within the course price: Individual 121 ZOOM session - 20 minutesThe sessions will focus on finding your stage persona and the ability to express your own point of view.We will explore storytelling and improv to maximise comic potential.You will be encouraged to find the funny in everything and anything.We work on listening and developing a rapport with your audience, and concentrate on various comedy techniques used by many professional comedians and speakers.You will investigate creating and using characters within your set.So come along and be involved with lots of laughter, learning and very valuable life skills.
