About the Base Commander's Golf Tournament: Canadian Forces Base Edmonton proudly presents the annual Base Commander's Golf Tournament. This esteemed event not only provides a thrilling day on the greens but also serves a noble purpose – raising funds for local charitable causes while strengthening bonds within our military community and beyond. Beneficiary Charity: Proceeds from this prestigious tournament will directly support the Edmonton Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC). The MFRC is the sole local non-profit organization mandated as the frontline service provider to Canadian military families. Established in 1989, the MFRC has been committed to enhancing the strength and resilience of military families by offering a wide range of programs and services tailored to their unique needs. Event Details: Date: September 5, 2025 Location: Edmonton Memorial Golf and Curling Club (EMGCC) Format: Four-person "Texas Scramble" Schedule: Registration begins at 8:00 AM, followed by the tournament. The day concludes with a delightful dinner and an awards presentation at 4:00 PM.
