The Act of Allyship Exhibit presents a unique opportunity to Meet & Greet LGBTQ+ Icons and the talented artist, Joy Chew. The exhibit stems from a powerful act of allyship by San Francisco-based artist Joy Chew. Inspired by the unjust treatment of transgender lawmaker Zooey Zephyr in Montana, Joy created a stunning art foiled print titled "Let Her Speak!" to amplify Zooey's voice and donate it to the SF LGBT Center. Encouraged by the impact of her work, Joy decided to extend her support by donating more art foiled prints of LGBTQ+ ICONS from San Francisco and around the world. From October to January 2024, the SF LGBT Center will proudly showcase these vibrant art foiled images on the 2nd Floor.
