Join artist and sculptor Mark Lester at MOCA Jacksonville's 5th floor studio for the Seize the Clay Ceramics Workshop, a recurring monthly event held on the fourth Saturday of every month. This ceramics workshop is perfect for artists of all abilities who want to develop their hand building and glazing skills. The class provides low-fire clay, tools, and basic glaze options, but students are welcome to bring their own tools and low-fire glazes if desired. Each class attended includes kiln firing of one small piece completed in the workshop. Geared towards adults, this workshop is also open to teens when accompanied by an adult.
