The Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival (JIWEF) is one of Jeju Island's most representative art festivals, blending the island's tranquil scenery, the romantic atmosphere of summer, and the ease of outdoor performance for wind instruments. It is the only competition in the world to include all brass instrument categories, including French horn, trumpet, tenor trombone, bass trombone, euphonium, tuba, brass quintet, and percussion. The Jeju International Brass Ensemble Competition joined the World Federation of International Music Competitions (JIWEF) in April 2009. Jeju co-hosted the 13th Asia-Pacific Wind Conductors Association Wind Band Festival in 2003 and the World Marching Wind Band Championships in 2006. In 2014, Jeju hosted the 18th Asia-Pacific Wind Conductors Association Wind Band Festival. The Jeju International Wind Band Festival and the Jeju International Brass Band Competition aim to promote the popularity and professionalism of wind instruments by jointly hosting these two events.

The 2025 Jeju Leisure and Healing Festival will be held at Hamdeok Beach in Jocheon-eup, Jeju City, from September 5th to 7th, 2025. The festival program includes nine cultural performances, including an opening concert, a drone light show, and a closing fireworks display, as well as kayaking, paddleboarding, and a mural dance party. 14 other experiences are planned, including 11 leisure sports, a carbon neutrality stamp rally, and Earth Love Workshops. Daily activities include an opening ceremony on the first day, a prelude by Hamdeok resident artists, a singer's performance, and a drone light show. The second day will feature a water battle and sunset concert, and the third day will feature a grand finale concert and closing fireworks display.
