This film festival is linked with the 2026 Jeju Ecotourism Week, featuring six documentaries that document marine ecology, fishing village culture, and the lives of people living around the ocean. The opening film, *Sura*, tells the legendary story of Saemangeum Bay, documented by director Hwang Yoon over seven years, while *Whispers of the Little Fish* chronicles a 200-kilometer journey in search of legendary seaweed creatures. Director Ko Hee-young's *Legend of the Water Splash* depicts the adventure of a female divers and a young female divers searching for the secret cellar of Samseong Island. *The Tide Cave: The Beginning of the Ocean*, documenting the biodiversity of the Jeju coast, will be screened at the Fisheries Iri Welfare Center and the Yera Ecological Experience Center, with interactive sessions and ecological explanations provided for the audience. Following the screening of *101*, featuring freediver Kim Kyung-hoon's 101-meter dive, a freediving workshop will be held. The closing film, *Coral Triangle: The World of Strange Creatures*, will take viewers on a deeper dive into the ecosystem of the Coral Triangle, known as the "Amazon of the Ocean." During the film screening, the director and actors will participate in audience dialogues, ecological explanations, and special lectures to help you gain a deeper understanding of the marine world depicted in the film.
