The routes cover over 100 miles of singletrack, as well as remote forest roads, abandoned paths, and some pavement sections. Riders will pass through stunning forests, The Cross Florida Greenway, two mountain bike parks, and tackle some of Florida's longest and toughest climbs. The original HuRaCaN route spans 370 miles of the most challenging terrain in Florida, while the HuRaCaN Lite is a 340-mile route designed for riders with skinnier tires. Registration for the event includes access to a Google Drive folder containing all necessary route information. Riders are encouraged to reserve a campsite at Shangri La Campground, the starting point of the event. The HuRaCaN Challenge is a loop, allowing participants to finish where they began, covering approximately 300 miles in total. The event will take place on February 3rd, 2024.
