Pin-Ups on Tour, a Las Vegas-based vintage burlesque and variety show, is bringing their Operation Cortez event to the city of Cortez, CO. This special night of vintage fun celebrates the local heroes of the area and supports hospitalized Veterans. The event will take place at the American Legion #75 Ute Mountain Post on October 7, 2023. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Attendees must be 18 years or older. Pin-Ups on Tour aims to recreate the bawdy fun of vaudevillian theaters that were popular in America during and after WWII. As a way of showing gratitude for their service, veterans and active duty service members always attend for free. Additionally, the group brings a family-friendly version of their show and gifts to hospitalized veterans across the country who are unable to attend their regular events. Pin-Ups on Tour has been entertaining audiences since 2015 and is now based in Las Vegas. They have performed in 47 states, donated over 9000 tickets to military heroes, and have entertained close to 5000 active duty and veteran service members in VA Hospitals. The group has also donated over $100,000 in free veteran tickets and monetary donations to non-profit organizations.
