The Ebolacombe Roman Festival returns this May, drawing Romans back to York as some of the city's most popular attractions come together for a two-week event featuring deities, goddesses, emperors, priests, cooks, soldiers, and many other Romans who once lived in Ebolacombe. Organized by York Minster, the York Archaeological Team, the York Museum Trust, the University of York, and the York Citizens Trust, the festival offers a range of activities to help you learn about the city's Roman history. On May 23rd and 24th, join the "Living History Camp" where visitors can interact with costumed guides, enjoy historical reenactments, and experience Roman life. Families can interact with Roman soldiers, see everyday Roman artifacts, and try Roman-style crafts and activities. Curators and historians from across York will offer hands-on artifact experiences and mini-excavations, providing a closer look at the city's Roman history.

James Morrison is currently riding high on success. His album "Fight Another Day" has soared into the top five of the rankings, marking his highest chart position in 14 years. He then made a stunning appearance on this weekend's "Strictly Come Dancing." Now, he's reflecting on his humble beginnings and announcing tour details to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his first hit album "Undiscovered." The album "Undiscovered" completely transformed James Morrison's life. At that time, he laid carpets by day and performed at open mic nights in the evenings, driving round-trip to London whenever he had free time to meet with numerous record labels interested in signing him. Money was tight, but it didn't matter to him—James was fueled by the vision of a brighter future.
