This is a 7-mile walk through Liberty State Park with great views of the New York skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and birds in tidal flats. Welcome to the Liberty State Park Loop Walk. Join Freewalkers and Everwalk on Sun, May 24, 2026 at 8:00 AM at the beautiful Liberty State Park . This walk is a great way to get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and meet new people. Lace up your walking shoes and come join us for a fun and refreshing morning walk! Meeting Point : We meet at the Central Railroad of NJ Terminal across from the Empty Sky 9/11 Memorial. Parking : There is free parking on Freedom Way by the playground (.7 mile walk to the start) or 2-hour free parking at the end of Audrey Zapp Drive (at the start) . Join the Newport Tree Conservancy for a tour of the grand, newly accredited Wyndham Arboretum. This 19th Century manor house hosts gorgeous views of the property and ocean beyond. With an eye for the natural aesthetic flow of the landscape and environmental changes, it is a thriving tapestry made up of carefully selected and interesting specimens trees and other woody plants. Enjoy the graceful evergreens like weeping hemlock, enormous Bracken’s Brown Beauty southern magnolia, and London plane tree alongside the water lily festooned pond. ***Wyndham has very limited parking, therefore, Premium tickets will provide parking for one car and admission for the driver. The driver can purchase Eco-Friendly tickets for passengers, or passengers may buy their own Eco-Friendly tickets. ***Eco-Friendly tickets DO NOT INCLUDE PARKING and are available for passengers of Premium ticket holders, those using other ride-share options such as Uber or Lyft, and bicyclists. Georges, PhD, MSEd, LMSW Associate Pastor, Community Christian Center Jazmin Georges is a happily married wife for over 21 years to her college sweetheart, Rev. Rowan O. Georges, an architect & associate partner at the internationally renowned firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. She is also a fiercely devoted mother to their son Ethan. She serves as Associate Pastor of Community Christian Center on Staten Island, NY. Dr. Georges obtained a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in History from the State University of NY at StonyBrook. She went on to graduate school at Columbia University where she received a Master of Science in Social Work and a Master of Science in Education, then going on to obtain her Ph.D. in Psychology during which she was the recipient of the prestigious Diamond Fellow. A New York State licensed social worker and educator, she is a practicing psychotherapist, also serving intermittently as an adjunct professor teaching graduate level courses in both developmental and educational psychology. A broken vessel who has experienced the Master's mercy, grace and restoration - Jazmin is a testimony to the fact that we can "..experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living..." (Lamentations 3:21) Jazmin has been called to minister a healing message - declaring to others that there IS a Balm in Gilead (Jeremiah 8:22). Savor the moonlit beauty of our City By the Sea with Bike Newport's monthly Full Moon Rides PLEASE READ ¨ ALL THIS INFORMATION BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO REGISTER FOR THE RIDE. Suggested Donation: $10 per Rider. Donations are not required. All donations are welcome, and support Bike Newport's inclusive programs for bike safety education and advocacy. You'll see a 'Donate' option during checkout. Thank you! You MUST be able to ride 15 miles comfortably at 10mph with traffic You MUST know how to use your gears for hills (there are several.) This is a NIGHT ride, we will be riding on dark roads. A helmet, FULL CHARGED bright front headlight, and rear red blinking light are required to participate . E nsure your bike is in good working order before arriving - Check your air pressure, brakes, and gears BEFORE the ride If riding an e-bike, ensure it is charged and in FULLY working condition You MUST wear high viz vest/jacket If you start on the ride and are then not able to continue on the ride, you are responsible for getting yourself home. The Ride: We'll ride 15 miles on Newport’s scenic roads and coastline by the light of the moon – from downtown Newport to Green Bridge, around some of the beautiful Ocean Loop, and along Bellevue back to Broadway.
