Riders must navigate a course of obstacles, aiming to clear each jump without knocking down rails or refusing. The goal is to complete the course with the least number offaultsin the fastest time! Faults and elimination can occur in few ways: A knock-down, lowering the height of a jump or failing to clear the white tape on a water jump, is penalized with 4 faults. The first refusal to jump a fence is penalized with 4 faults.A second refusal to results in elimination.Exceeding the time allowed is penalized with 1 fault for every 1 second over the time allowed.Falling off while on course results in elimination.Going off course, jumping the fences out of the correct order, also results in elimination.Don't miss the jump off! Those with no faults in the first round will move on to the jump-off where they will compete over a shortened course. The goal is to clear the course in the fastest time possible without penalties. It's an exciting, high-pressure moment where speed and precision are crucial to securing victory!
