Enthralling thousands in the Hudson Valley since 1996, Kruk is the most renowned performer of Washington Irving's Fall Classic. On October 7th, the master storyteller, will give a rare, one-time performance, in Hendersonville, TN of his enthralling signature show! Kruk gives character accents, Washington Irving's wit, and ghostly jumpstarts to regale all with the tale of a headless goblin chasing a Yankee Schoolmaster in this haunting holiday classic. Discover why the New York Times stated,“His spirited, candlelit one-man show has become a fixture of Halloween!” Kruk has been featured on The Today Show, CBS Sunday Morning, The Travel Channel, and the BBC. May 3, 2025, Yorktown's Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival returns! Ticket sales are limited. No outside food, beverages, tables, tents, or umbrellas. Unopened bottled water and small folding lawn chair permitted. Severe weather date: 5/18/25. Tickets are non refundable. Sample more than 30 different craft beers, dig into some amazing BBQ (available for purchase), and listen as some of the best Blues musicians in Hampton Roads and beyond take the stage at Riverwalk Landing. This year’s Blues, Brews & BBQ promises to be the best yet! The music will begin with the HM Johnson Band taking the stage at 12:30pm followed by Anthony Rosano and the Conqueroos Band at 3:30pm. Tickets are $40 for advance sales and $50 after 4/15 and at the door (if available). This is a closed ticketed event only. A limited number of non-drinking tickets are available for $20. This is a rain or shine event. VIP tables for 8 are available by calling 757.877.2933 and are limited. Wine garden offering limited sampling, full pours available for purchase. Proceeds Benefit Sister Cities Yorktown, York Foundation for Public Education, and other local non profits. Sponsored by York County, Water Street Grille, and M Price. Tickets are non-refundable, even if you are unable to make the severe weather date. Severe weather date subject to change FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) A limited number of drinking and non-drinking tickets will be sold for this event Every attendee must purchase a ticket and have a wrist band Can I bring in my own wine, beer or other alcohol? No, ABC regulations forbid any outside alcohol being brought in No outside food permitted, bottled water will be allowed No tables, coolers, tents or large umbrellas permitted. Small folding lawn or beach chairs are allowed How long can we taste? Tastings last until 5:30pm. If you purchased an alcoholic beverage if must be finished before the end of the event , 6pm Can I bring in my picnic basket? No, but water is permitted. No coolers Can I buy a glass of beer and drink it? Yes, if you have a ticket and an appropriate wrist band Can I buy a wine/beer glass? No – We only give glasses out with an event ticket purchase I broke my glass, can I get another one? There is a charge for replaced glasses, while supplies last Can my younger children come in with me without charge? This is not a kid friendly event. Children will need a ticket to access main event areas Can our designated driver come in without charge? No, but there are a limited number of non-drinking tickets. Anyone wanting to purchase, sample, consume or be in possession of alcohol must have an drinking event ticket and wrist band Can an extra person sit at our VIP table? We strictly enforce the amount of people allowed in the VIP area. Since those tickets cost more, we want to make sure everyone is comfortable and enjoys the event. We also have to insure that a chair from another table isn’t taken Can I bring my pet in? No, this is not a pet friendly event. Service animals are allowed.
