Winter Run Club is meant to keep your athlete motivated, running, and strong throughout the cold winter months. The program is designed to build a solid fitness base leading into the Spring Track and Field season. Winter Run Club is open to Middle School and High School Runners. We will meet weekly on Wednesday's from 3:30pm-5pm. We will take the first hour to warmup and run before it gets dark and the last half hour will be reserved for strength training and technique training. Please be prepared to run in all conditions! We will go outside in almost all weather. Join us Saturday, January 25th, 2025 for a day of fatbiking, feasting, and hearty brews around warm fires. What is Widestock you ask? In short, it's a day of fatbike revelry on Mount Peg's powder-packed single track! Widestock will be staged out of the Knox Meadow trailhead situated on Mount Peg's trail netowrk. A remote aid station, a.k.a the remote party, will be situated at Peg's summit lookout. Tickets are limited to 250 total. Your ticket price includes the ride, aid station, lunch with both carnivorous and veggie options, and a limited edition print. Proceeds from the event will be donated back to WAMBA's innitiatives. So pump up those tires, break out the extra layers, and get ready to party MTBVT style... it's tradition! RIDE ROUTE: We'll all be following a groomed, mapped and signed course out to the aid station and back. The course will be optimized based on weather and groomed conditions. This spring, we are delighted to offer our exclusive camp at the Reeves Community Centre in Woodstock, Ontario. Our camp provides a comprehensive package with six hours of ice time, small group levels, engaging classroom sessions, and insightful video analysis. We guarantee the best value in the business, ensuring that every goalie receives the attention they deserve. To ensure maximum progression, we keep our groups small and carefully assess attendees' skill levels, allowing us to challenge them at the appropriate proficiency. Our main objective is to help your goalie catch up and excel on the ice this season, while also providing a ton of fun along the way! The camp runs from March 11 to March 12, with a slightly different schedule each day. On March 11, participants are requested to arrive at 9:30 am for check-in. The day starts with off-ice training from 9:30 to 11:00 am, followed by a lunch break (please bring your own lunch). On-ice session #1 takes place from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, followed by a classroom session from 1:00 to 1:45 pm (lower body gear must be kept on). The day concludes with on-ice session #2 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, followed by dismissal at 4:00 pm. On March 12, participants are requested to arrive at 8:45 am for check-in. The day begins with on-ice session #1 from 9:30 to 11:00 am, followed by off-ice training from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.
