Mission: Heroes Bass Fishing Assunpink Lake is an exciting and meaningful event dedicated to our Nation's Heroes - military personnel and first responders. This FREE boat fishing event, held at Assunpink Wildlife Management Area in Allentown, is a wonderful opportunity to show appreciation for their service and provide a therapeutic day on the water. Volunteers with fishing boats are eagerly wanted for this event! If you have a boat and fishing experience, we encourage you to register and join us on September 17, 2023. Veterans, active duty members of the Armed Forces, and First Responders will be paired up with volunteers to form boat teams and compete in a friendly fishing competition. The event offers a variety of categories, including a 15 Bass limit, Big Bass, Big Miscellaneous, and Big Panfish. If you have your own fishing gear, feel free to bring it along.
