As the sun sets, San Inácio Zoo transforms into a magical wonderland, where nature bursts forth with new colors, light, and forms. From November 1st to February 28th, the fourth edition of the "Wild Lights" light show returns, bringing an even more dazzling night and a series of surprising wonders. Following the success of previous editions, this nighttime extravaganza will once again illuminate San Inácio Zoo, the largest and most environmentally friendly zoo in northern Portugal. Thousands of lights and glowing animal figures create a dazzling ribbon of light, and this year, a new highlight has been added: dinosaurs have joined this light feast! The "Wild Lights" exhibition is more than just an exhibition; it's a sensory journey that blends light, color, nature, and imagination. As visitors stroll along the zoo's brightly lit paths, they will see wildlife models of various sizes composed of thousands of miniature LED lights, adding vibrant colors and captivating charm to the entire environment.

Lisbon's New Year's Eve celebrations include entertainment by DJs Mojo and Márcio Jesus, a performance by Plutonio, and a climax with a 10-minute fireworks display launched from the Tagus River. Singer Plutonio will take the stage at 10:30 pm, performing hip-hop, trap music, and R&B. At the end of the performance, a midnight countdown will begin, followed by a 10-minute fireworks display launched from the Tagus River, synchronized with 250 drones. The entertainment continues until 1 am on January 1st, with DJ Mojo returning for another performance, this time with MC Helder Tavares on a "I Love Reggae" show.

Porto is brimming with Christmas spirit! In fact, over two million festive lights are illuminated in the city center and surrounding areas. The General Humberto Delgado Square (in front of the City Hall) on Ariados Avenue is the heart of the 2025 celebrations. All the light shows officially commenced with a ceremony on the evening of November 29th. The light show began at 6:00 PM, followed by the spectacular video projection show "The Nutcracker Mission." At 6:30 PM, legendary singer Marisa will deliver a Portuguese musical feast. She will perform with the Porto Youth Symphony Orchestra – a thrilling and deeply moving festive performance suitable for all. The festive lights will be on daily from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM until January 6th.

The Funchal Marathon is a sporting event of an international nature which takes place annually in the city of Funchal and that brings together athletes from many countries, in a trend more pronounced in leisure and recreation not forgetting of course the competitive part. The Madeira Athletics Association (AARAM) promotes this major international sporting event. This sports event consists of three main races, the Funchal Marathon (42.195,00 meters), the Funchal Half Marathon (21.097,50 meters) and the Mini marathon (8.000 meters).
