Join us for a special daytime conference bringing together stroke survivors, families and carers from across the UK.
This is a relaxed and supportive space to connect with others, hear real experiences, and explore life after stroke together.
Whether your stroke was recent or many years ago, you’re welcome.
What to expect
The day will include:
Lived experience talks and Q&A
A keynote speaker
Small group breakout sessions
Time to connect and share experiences
An exhibition area with partner organisations
You can take part at your own pace. There is no pressure to share anything unless you want to.
Keynote Speaker
Sheila Chingono
Sheila had a haemorrhagic stroke at 32, shortly after getting married and at a time when life felt busy and full.
After weeks in hospital and facing paralysis down her left side, she began a long recovery journey. With support and determination, she has regained her independence and continues to adapt to life with some ongoing effects.
Sheila now speaks openly about stroke in younger people and is passionate about helping others feel informed and supported in their recovery.
