Join the Bouncing along workshop in Darlington Library for a delightful exploration of playful and silly poetry. Led by Caroline Walling, a performance poet, teacher, and mother, this workshop promises to be a fun-filled experience. Caroline, a member of the Tees Women Poets, has created and performed captivating pieces in various community festivals. As the poet-in-residence at DRAKE bookshop in Stockton, she draws inspiration from a wide range of books. Whether you want to craft a whimsical children's ditty, indulge in nonsensical writing, or even poke fun at politics, this welcoming workshop is open to everyone. No prior experience as a comedian or poet is necessary, so don't worry if you're new to this art form. Just bring along some paper and pens, and get ready to embrace your silly side! The Bouncing along workshop will take place on December 9, 2023, at Darlington Library, located at Crown Street, Darlington, DL1 1ND. Best of all, admission is free! So, come join us for a joyous exploration of the world of playful poetry.
