This is not a drop-in event, tickets are required. This event is a partnership with our high schools and is provided as a field trip from the high school to the center. "Come With Me" to Camp! - Family-Style Camp Camp Arroyo Grande, 250 Wesley St, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420 Parents and/or Caregivers attend with their campers for 2 fun-filled weeks of summer. This year we are excited to share that cabins are available for rent! Campers can enjoy all Camp Expedition has to offer: Hiking Art Science Swimming Pool Slide Bounce House Sensory Play ...And More! Camp Registration: Camp Expedition is $60 for the week. Siblings are $30 for the week. Based off attendance and feedback from last year, we encourage everyont to join us for the entire week - including our end of the week Friday party. If your camper is not able to attend the entire week, there is a pay-by-day option for $20 per session. Scholarships are available, please email contact@sloautism.org for information. Groups will be capped to ensure appropriate ratios. Tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Camp Expedition is designed for campers ranging from elementary to adults. Each cabin is a ‘sleeping only’ structure which sleeps 4-5. The cabins share a new, ADA-accessible restroom and shower facility that is located in closeproximity. We are thrilled to offer 5 cabins for rent this year at Camp Arroyo Grande: Ira Hughes Cabin, Arroyo Grande Cabin, Ventura Cabin, Flood Cabin, and Pruett Cabin.Our goal is to offer families a low-cost, immersive camping experience. Each cabin is available for $50 per night. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out is 12 pm. Cabins are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. During your camper's session, you'll have access to all camp materials and activities. However, we kindly ask that you make alternative arrangements during other camper sessions. Please note that no CCASC staff will be present to assist with activities or provide support during your stay in the cabins. Pinot for Paws is our annual signature fundraiser of the year! Joyce Wine Company hosts this year's Pinot for Paws event in their gorgeous Arroyo Seco winery and tasting room. Live music will get you on your feet with all the classics! Silent and live auctions will enhance your shopping experience. Your ticket includes one (1) glass of wine, a delicious plate of BBQ Tri-tip, ranch style chili beans, salad and roasted Salinas Valley veggies and a dessert bar featuring an array of yummy sweets. All proceeds benefit SCAR, a fully volunteer-operated animal rescue nonprofit organization based in South Monterey County, serving communities of Chualar, Gonzales, Soledad, Greenfield, King City, San Lucas, San Ardo, Lockwood, and Bradley. Our Mission: South County Animal Rescue was established to provide rescue and assistance for domestic animals. Our goal is to significantly reduce the homeless population of domestic animals in South County through safe rescue and adoption services, awareness and education. What we do: Increase access to low cost spay and neuter services for South County residents, fixing our pets is the solution to the overpopulation of unwanted cats & dogs. Our volunteers foster animals while we curate adoption placements. Our volunteers trap, neuter and release (TNR) feral and community cats. Tour Greener Pastures Farm Sanctuary in Arroyo Grande! Meet the rescued residents up close and hear their stories of triumph from volunteers who work with them weekly. Walk the pastures at your leisure and learn about the animals' sweet and funny personalities. Learn how sanctuary life has transformed them. You may even get to brush the goats and pet the donkeys! You will meet: miniature horses, sheep, goats, potbelly pigs, mini donkeys, Cornish cross hens, chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys. (For safety all animals will be in corrals.) Meet Dinkey our amazing potbelly pig who has her own childrens book! Please Note: This is a fundraiser to provide for the care of our 36 rescued residents. 100% of all proceeds and donations go directly to supporting the animals. Children under 5 are free. Tickets MUST be purchased in advance. No tickets available at the door. Wear closed toe shoes as you will be asked to step into a sanitizing foot bath to protect our fowl from the highly contagious Avian Flu. Please leave pets at home, not in your car. Children must be with an adult the entire visit. Please silence your cell phones while visiting. Please do not bring food or drinks, except water. The animals will try to steal them!
