Sparta Camera Club Presents 'Country & Nature Photography' at NJ Audubon's Wayrick Gallery The NJ Audubon's Wayrick Gallery in Bernardsville, NJ, is hosting a stunning new exhibit, Country & Nature Photography, featuring works by the talented photographers of the Sparta Camera Club from February 8 to April 26. This collection celebrates the beauty of rural landscapes and wildlife, capturing the splendor of nature through the eyes of local photographers. Instructor: David DesRochers and Phil Witt, Associate Naturalists The summer travel season is approaching. This lecture will cover the principles of travel photography: capturing an establishing location shot; integrating close-up shots into a travelogue; sequencing the shots to tell a story, among other principles. After the lecture, the instructors will review participant images. Students are encouraged to bring a flashdrive with two images (preferably RAW) for review and discussion. Led by Angus Macaulay, Teacher/Naturalist. Join us at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary for a look into the nocturnal world of moths. Late spring marks a peak in moth activity. Indoors we will discuss collecting techniques, local species, their life cycle and importance to our environment. Then, with the aid of traps and special lighting, we will begin collecting specimens to be identified and released. This program is suitable for all ages. Please come dressed for the weather.
