Join us for a fun day out at The Knitting and Stitching Show at Ally Pally! Sunday 11th October - Save the date!! Welcome to The Knitting and Stitching Show - Ally Pally Coach Trip 2026 ! Join us for a fun day out filled with yarn, fabric, and all things crafty at Alexandra Palace . ( NOTE: If you are interested in a place on our coach but the tickets have sold out, please email us at ipswich@franklinsgroup.com or give us a call on 01473 221188. We have a waiting list that you can be placed on in case of cancellations.) Tickets include entry to the show and coach travel. We have Two coaches running this year to the Knitting and Stitching Show : Coach 1 + 2 : Ipswich - Alexandra Palace : -Pick up at 7:30am at Crown House on Crown Street, coach leaving promptly at 7:45am. ( Crown Street ) Note: Please make sure you remember which Coach you have booked onto. Coaches will be leaving the show at 4:30pm so please make sure you are at the coach 15 minutes prior to leaving. Suffolk Family Carers is a registered Charity in touch with over 14,000 Carers in Suffolk. For a quarter of a century, they have been providing a range of services to Family Carers as well as raising awareness of Family Carer issues with their partners in health and social care. They ultimately seek to minimise the hardships, difficulties and other challenges Family Carers face, to raise awareness of Family Carers and ensure their voices are heard throughout Suffolk. A day for children aged 8-17 to learn how to use a sewing machine. This half-day class is the perfect fit for you if you have just started out, or have never even used a sewing machine before. We will teach you: How to use a sewing machine - reverse stitch, starting and finishing your work. How to choose an appropriate stitch. Changing stitch length. Sewing in a zipper. Lining and turning through. You will feel comfortable using a machine, so that together we can make a kitty cat zipper pouch by the end of the class. This class is designed to help you gain the confidence you need to continue your sewing journey once you get home. Learning some of the basic rules of sewing will give you the best start to help you flourish in your new hobby. Each ticket covers the use of ONE sewing machine and ONE set of materials for the class. If adults would like to make their own project (not just supervise) another ticket must be purchased. All children aged between 8 - 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Who will be responsible for their behaviour and safety during the class.
