We’ll teach you how to quickly find the exposure information for the photo you are about to take. Topics covered also include autofocus, white balance, and how to stop getting blurry pictures in low light. To get started in photography and learn the fundamentals, this is the course for you. By the end of four weeks, we’ll have you exploring your camera’s settings and getting more out of your equipment. Our event is open to all ages and all pets/animals can be painted (dogs, pigs, cats, horses, reptiles, etc). $20 of each ticket will be donated back to Speedway Rescue How it works: You will receive a canvas with your pet sketched out (photo submission details below). Laughter class at the alpaca farm! Laughter increases the levels of endorphins – the body’s natural painkillers – and decreases the body’s production of cortisol, a hormone released in times of stress that contributes to weight gain and memory loss. Laughter Yoga, designed by Dr. Madan Kataria in 1995, incorporates playful group exercises with deep breathing to enhance wellness and joy. It eases anxiety and depression, awakens happiness and forges relationships. Laughter Yoga class can help students release stress and tension, calm their minds, improve their health and provide an abundance of positive energy. The one-hour class, which involves minimal stretching and much laughter, will take place on the farm, followed by a visit with the alpacas. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. Please note: there are dogs, cats and other animals on the property. *No public toilet facility available.
