Peter Wood, the Collector of the Impossible , presents incredible, magical objects with unparalleled showmanship. Penn & Teller praised Peter on national television, saying “You could’ve done this act just like this a hundred years ago, and it would’ve been just as good, and it’s great now.” Baltimore Magazine describes Peter as “charming, witty, and amazing,” and the Washington Business Journal promises that he “will blow your mind.” Peter’s interactive show feels like stepping into a cabinet of curiosities, filled with supernatural paintings, mysterious elixirs, mind-reading devices, and more. Blending amazing artifacts with humor and storytelling, Peter Wood has crafted a one-of-a-kind magic show experience that is guaranteed to surprise and delight. Maryland’s story begins on St. Clement's Island, where the Ark and the Dove landed in March 1634. It then changed hands a number of times until its final designation as a state park. While motoring around the Island, Museum Division Manager and author Karen Stone will offer tales of the Island’s role in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War, and World War II, and will include highlights of the colorful history of the Blackistone Lighthouse, including its destruction in the 1950's, and its eventual reconstruction in 2008. All cruises will leave the dock at 4:00 P.M. A seafood dinner with a chicken option will be offered for all cruises. You will receive an email 10 days – 1 week before your scheduled cruise asking for your meal choice and giving you specific details about your cruise. All cruises will end with a sweet treat. A Welcome Reception will be available 30 minutes prior to each cruise. Please make plans to attend.
