Join Stanford's Movement Disorders Center and Brain Support Network for this event for caregivers, partners, and family members who care for those with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), multiple system atrophy (MSA), or corticobasal degeneration (CBD) , also known as corticobasal syndrome, or CBS. This is a caregivers-only symposium. We kindly ask that people with PD, MSA or CBD not attend, so that in-person speakers, panelists, and attendees may speak openly about the caregiving. Speakers include a Stanford movement disorder specialist on the topic of what to expect with these disorders; social workers on the effects neurological decline has on the family unit, caregiver stress, and available resources; and a panel of Brain Support Network PSP, MSA, and CBD caregiver support group members.
