Why It Matters
Black Girls Govern centers the voices, experiences, and leadership potential of Black girls—who are too often overlooked in civic spaces. This conference offers a powerful platform where Black girls are not only seen and heard but also represented by Black women leaders, and equipped to develop, contribute to, and advance their communities and the world around them. We want each attendee to leave this experience feeling empowered, valued, and ready to lead with confidence and courage.
