You can join this paddle session as an individual, couple or small group. It's great for families, friends and individuals looking to socialise with like minded adventurers. You will be taking part in a group activity of maximum 10 participants. All children MUST be accompanied by at least one adult aged 21 years and over. Minimum age is 6 years old. Please note the cost is per person. Car parking is available at Kings Norton Playing Fields. The activity is led by a qualified and insured helm who provides an introduction to the bellboat and water safety, as well as steering the boat. Bellboating is lo-impact and is suitable for most people including non swimmers. However, any health issue that could impact on your safe participation MUST be declared when booking. Comfortable footwear and sensible clothing MUST be worn including warm and waterproof clothing on wet weather days. Strictly no jeans, heeled shoes or boots of any kind. Six Weeks Pottery Making Come join us at Langtons Pottery for a fun and creative experience! Our Six Weekly Pottery Making events are perfect for beginners or seasoned potters looking for a stunning setting, a slice of cake and to learn the beautiful art of pottery. Everything you make is included, so let your imagination run wild and before long you'll be having your favourite drink in a mug you made yourself. Try hand building, wheel work and glazing (see note), and we'll help you create bowls, vases, tiles, cake stands and more! Over the six weeks you'll explore many techniques and have many different projects. We will help you make your chosen pottery projects, rather than follow a set syllabus. So come with ideas or we have plenty of inspirations! Every week at the same time starting Thursday 29th May and finishing Thursday 3rd July. If you are unable to make your usual class we will let you swap to another session that week or if you are away on holidays etc you can double up before you go or when you get back. When you first sign up for a six week pottery adventure we will give you our bespoke apron, bag and pottery notebook becayse you are a regular of our Langtons Pottery studio! Friday Evening Pottery Making Workshop Come join us at Langtons Pottery Studio for a fun and creative experience! What a great way to spend a Friday evening. Relax, unwind, get creative, try out making pottery in new/different ways, chat and laugh! For beginners or seasoned potters looking for a stunning setting, a lovely slice of cake and to learn the beautiful art of pottery! Everything you make is included, so let your imagination run wild and before long you'll be having your favourite drink in a mug you made yourself or nibbles from a bowl or platter you are super proud to say you made. Try hand building, wheel work and glazing (see note), and we'll help you create bowls, vases, tiles, a long summer cocktail drinks beaker, a new pet dinner bowl and so much more! You will make 2-3 things during your evening with us, and these will be fired in the kiln twice and ready for collection in 3-4 weeks. We can arrange to post for an additional charge. In the era of boybands and pop music, the early 2000s TV channels didn’t offer much for the “alternative” music scene. Two South Londoners tried to change that, starting up their own music video channel, they soared above the top dogs, until they tried to bring them down. Through Interviews with bands, fan’s and the creator’s of P-Rock TV we look into DIY nature of the punk, ska, “alternative” music industry. Shining a light on the community this music scene has as well as answering the age old mystery of what happened to P-Rock TV. Many elements of the story will be told through dramatizations, in style of early 2000s music videos, using mixed media such as stop motion, 2d animation as well as shooting on mini dv and film. The overall tone should be uplifting, championing forging your own path and sometimes the only way too get something done is say fuck it and do it yourself.
