The rolling sauna is in sale water park ! This ticket is for one of our midweek sessions in the sauna van, lasting 50 minutes. We also have weekend sessions, see our other evets. We will be parked at the far end of the car park near the restaurant. Sound Bath for Deep Relaxation at Thrive Wellbeing Hub (formerly known as The Hope Centre), 7 Hampden Road, Sale, Cheshire, M33 7UB. Time: 7:00pm-8:00pm Cost : £15 per person (plus Eventbrite booking fee). What you need to bring : A yoga mat, a pillow, and a blanket, or a sleeping bag (as you will be lying down for the duration of the session). You may also wish to bring a bottle of water. Please ensure that you are well-hydrated and that you do not have a full stomach. Commencing with a short guided meditation, followed by a sound bath featuring the healing sounds from handmade Himalayan singing bowls, ocean drum, Koshi wind chimes, and other sacred sound instruments. Please note that these sound baths at Thrive Wellbeing Hub (formerly known as The Hope Centre) will all feature the use of slowly swirling ‘nebula’ light projections on the ceiling to make for a more immersive experience in sound and light. As such, if you are photosensitive, please consider bringing a blindfold to wear. Booking is essential due to the limited number of spaces available. Please note that I do not offer refunds. If you find that you cannot attend you can either transfer your booking to a friend, or transfer your booking on to the next sound bath I am running at this venue (Friday 6th June 2025). Any transfers must be arranged with me at least 24 hours before the sound bath on which you had originally booked. Contraindications : Please note that sound baths are unsuitable for: • Anyone in the first trimester of pregnancy. (If you are in the second or third trimester, it is safe to attend sound baths, but please let me know.) • Anyone with a pacemaker, stent, mechanical shunt, or any other metal implants in your body (with the exception of tooth fillings). • Anyone with a sound-sensitive condition (such as sound-triggered epilepsy). • Children under the age of 10 years. I work with a wide range of ethically sourced handmade Himalayan singing bowls, including antique and vintage bowls, ranging in fundamental pitch from the low 2nd octave to the 6th octave. 'Mind', from my album Sound Bath: Seven Jambati Himalayan Singing Bowls , features the sound of some of my low 3rd octave bowls that I use in my sound bath entrainment. During the sound bath these Jambati bowls are placed around the room and I strike each one in turn, resulting in a pulsing entrainment, ideal for altering states of consciousness. 'Contemplating Dhyana' features the sounds of three of my 4th octave bowls (two Dolpo tantric bowls and one Thadobati bowl), all of which I use in my sound baths. A Female Focussed event - for Women to be in circle, to rest & explore Oracle cards to support your session's intention setting, before resting down for the sounds bath experience. What to expect: Held in a beautiful studio. Crystal and Himalayan bowl resonance with enchanting vocal harmonics. The Sound Scape begins with Yoga Nidra, a meditative lying down relaxation to connect with your body and inner woman, before enjoying a soundscape of harmonics and grounding textures for a highly restorative experience like no other. Grounding sounds bring you back to yourself. We close with a sung return from Orietta, which includes Shruti box sounds to welcome you home to yourself, in a self-honouring way. What's Provided: Yoga Mats, bolsters, cushions, there are some eye pillows What to bring/wear: Your own blanket to keep warm, additional pillow for comfort, possibly a scarf if you like to block out the light and a sealed water bottle if wish. Wear any comfortable clothing or layers for lying on a mat. What is Sound Healing? It is a layering of different frequencies from special instruments that vibrate us at a cellular level. No water is involved. You may feel anything from tingling to simple rest. Once deeply relaxed you might drift into a half waking state that activates the parasympathetic nervous system. This means a very rested feeling. We sometimes hold old emotions & pains within ourselves without realising, but gentle sounds may uplift, inspire, relax or move you into a peaceful inwards space. The intention of the practitioner is to love and cherish yourself. Sound Healing is NOT suitable for people: 1st trimester (3 months) pregnancy Those with metal plates or implants - vibrational frequencies can cause injury Heart conditions/pacemaker - frequency may cause irregular beat Epilepsy or seizures Severe neurological condititons - Parkinsons, PTSD, severe mental health concerns People with high sensitivity or adverse reactions to unexpected sounds or noises N.B. Those with Hearing aids can attend, however the hearing aid must be removed once the sound healing begins (to avoid uncomfortable or loud frequency interference). Join us at our Technology & Gaming centre for one of our much loved gaming sessions for disabled adults! We have various games and control methods to ensure everyone can game! So, if your disability holds you back from gaming, we will match technology to your needs to ensure you can play. The gaming sessions are completely free but donations are welcome and we have an accessible lift for any wheelchair users. A disabled person can have up to 2 other players who are their guests. Carers MUST stay onsite and not leave the premesis at any time without the express permission of Everyone Can staff. If you or anyone in your party needs help with personal or specialist care, you MUST have a carer on-site at all times who is willing and able to assist. Everyone Can staff and volunteers are there to facilitate and support the gaming and not to provide personal care of participants. Violent, offensive or inappropriate conduct towards Everyone Can staff or anyone else within the Centre will not be tolerated and will result in you being asked to leave. Everyone Can staff have the right to ask a person to leave. If asked to do so, you shall vacate the premises immediately. Food and drink are not allowed outside of the café area. Alcohol or smoking, including electronic cigarettes, are not permitted on the premises at any time.
