Join the Southern Utah Beginner .22 Rifle Shoot on Saturday, November 18th at the Cedar City Area Shooting Range. Hosted by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, this free first shots clinic is perfect for beginners looking to learn the basics of rifle marksmanship. Under the guidance of a certified shooting instructor, participants will receive an introduction to safe gun handling and the fundamentals of shooting. This hands-on class offers a supportive and encouraging environment for individuals aged 12 and older. All participants must have a ticket and sign a waiver form, including adults accompanying youth. Dress comfortably as the clinic will take place outdoors. Don't forget to bring eye and ear protection, as they are required for participation. Although it is not necessary, attendees are welcome to bring their personal .22 rifle and ammunition. Limited rifles and ammunition will be available for use. It's important to note that magnum and handguns are not allowed. Space is limited, so make sure to register in advance for this exciting event.
