The 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) will be held from June 28 to July 4, 2026, with the theme "A Bridge Connecting Asia and the World." As a premier event bringing together filmmakers, artists, and outstanding works from across Asia, the Da Nang Asian Film Festival will continue to solidify Da Nang's position as a film hub, a center for creative exchange, and a premier destination for film enthusiasts' cultural experiences.

The Hoi An Full Moon Lantern Festival takes place on November 3 and December 3, 2025, and on January 2, February 1, March 2, April 1, May 30, June 28, July 27, August 26, September 24, October 23, November 22, and December 22, 2026. Hoi An's Full Moon Lantern Festival takes place on the 14th day of the first lunar month each year, transforming the UNESCO World Heritage-listed ancient city into a river of lights. In Buddhist tradition, the full moon is considered an ideal time for meditation, reflection, rituals, and ancestral worship. At sunset, the city's electric lights go out, and the streets are almost entirely illuminated by silk lanterns hung from balconies and in alleyways. Vendors set up stalls along the Thu Bon River, selling paper lanterns with small candles. Locals and tourists alike place these lanterns on the river to pray for good luck, health, or happiness.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 (DIFF 2026) will be held from May 30 to July 11, 2026, with the theme "Da Nang – A Shared Vision," showcasing a new Da Nang with a broader perspective, more distinctive urban character, and vibrant culture and tourism. Ten top fireworks teams from Vietnam and around the world will gather to compete on six spectacular nights, creating a dazzling summer night sky and a vibrant festival atmosphere along the Han River.

This year’s exhibition aims to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Fine Arts (December 10, 1951 - 2025) and the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association (1957 - 2025). The purpose of this annual event is to honor the creative achievements of painters and sculptors, and at the same time, introduce new artworks to the public, thereby contributing to the development of the local fine arts movement. Within the framework of the exhibition, the organizers will display 55 works by 52 painters, sculptors and collaborators from the Da Nang Fine Arts Association. These are diverse in content, themes and materials, reflecting different styles and techniques. Many young artists promise to bring fresh experimental works to the exhibition, expressing their creativity and their own artistic directions. Through lines, colors and concepts, visitors can gain insight into the inner worlds of the artists. On the occasion, the Da Nang Fine Arts Association will present its annual awards to artists with outstanding artworks in 2025.

The 21st Hoi An-Japan Cultural Exchange Program in 2025 will be held from December 26th to 28th at the Hoi An Sculpture Garden, Hoi An Ancient Town, and Hoi An East and West Wards in Da Nang City. The opening ceremony will be held at 7:30 PM on December 26th at the Hoi An Sculpture Garden stage, featuring a performance of traditional Japanese drums and artistic programs by renowned Vietnamese and Japanese singers and art groups. During the three-day event, various cultural exchanges, traditional art performances, street art activities, origami, yukata wearing, and an exhibition of "Hizen Ceramics – Story Patterns" will also be held.

The food festival boasts a vibrant atmosphere and features hundreds of specialty dishes, ranging from Da Nang delicacies and classic Vietnamese cuisine to flavors from different cultures. Visitors can experience the cooking process firsthand and participate in numerous other unique art performances and activities.
