The Kansas City Beer Festival, Kansas City's largest traditional beer festival, is hosted by the Kansas City Bier Company and will be held at the Crown Center on October 2-3, 2026. Modeled after Oktoberfest in Munich, it brings together authentic German beer, food, live music on multiple stages, traditional German and American cuisine, games and competitions, crafts, and a children's carnival, offering beer lovers and families a two-day feast of pure German culture. The event attracted over 17,000 participants in 2025, making it Kansas City's most popular fall cultural festival. Kansas City also hosts several other beer festivals in early to mid-September, including O-KC-toberfest and Oktoberfest Live, celebrating beer culture for several weeks.
