Join us at Planton Farm in Shropshire for a morning getting hands on with our pastured poultry enterprises incorporating both laying hens and meat chickens. The day will begin with an introductions before we get started with the routine jobs we do each day with the chickens. Whilst we are checking chicks, moving sheds and weighing birds we will share our insights and experiences from breed, chick sourcing, feeding and shed dseign plus much more. Following the mornings work, we will share a home-grown brunch whilst continuting discussion and an opportunity to chat with other attendees. As this is a fully outdoor event, please wear sturdy footwear and bring appropriate clothing for the weather, whether that be waterproofs, a hat, or sunscreen.
