Join the Aardman Workshop - Gromit (Gaelic Language) at The Pyramid at Anderston in Glasgow on February 24, 2024. Hosted by Aardman's Senior Model Maker, Jim Parkyn, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to create your very own clay Gromit. Aardman, the renowned studio behind beloved animated characters like Wallace and Gromit, Morph, and Shaun the Sheep, is bringing their expertise to this interactive session. Participants will have the chance to get creative with clay and learn the art of model making. Each individual interested in making their own unique model will need to purchase a ticket. However, parents can accompany and assist their child without purchasing an additional ticket. The workshop will be guided in Scots-Gaelic by Alasdair Satchel and in English by Jim Parkyn. Please indicate your language preference when signing up. Additionally, purchasing tickets for any of the animation workshops grants access to the 5.30pm screening of Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) / Mallachd an Fhir-rabaide in Scots-Gaelic. This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

After visiting Glasgow Cathedral, we walked to the cemetery behind the cathedral. The cemetery situated on the hillside is very beautiful.
