Discover the joy of learning to ride a bicycle at the Adult Learn to Ride event in Fairfax. Presented by George Mason University, the City of Fairfax, and Fairfax Alliance for Better Bicycling, this class offers a comprehensive program for adults who have never ridden a bike, struggled to master the skill, or simply need a refresher. Certified instructors will guide participants through the fundamentals of balancing, pedaling, starting, braking, and steering a bicycle in a 3-hour session. The event will take place on April 6, 2024, at George Mason University's Parking Lot C, located at Braddock Road and Nottoway Lane, Fairfax, VA 22030. Bike and helmet rentals are included in the $10 registration fee for individuals aged 18 and above.
