Blackwell's Bookshop in Manchester is thrilled to present "An Evening of Crime Fiction with Salt Publishing / DRY CLEANING Book Launch". This exciting event will feature an esteemed panel of authors including Trevor Mark Thomas, Kerry Hadley-Pryce, Chris Parker, and Livi Michael, who will discuss their captivating new novels.

Trevor Mark Thomas will be showcasing his latest work, "DRY CLEANING", a gripping tale set amidst a scorching summer in the countryside near Manchester. Fresh out of prison, Ethan Mallam finds himself embroiled in a brutal civil war within his old gang. Trevor Mark Thomas follows up on the success of his previous novel, "The Bothy", with this sensational crime thriller.

Also joining the panel is Kerry Hadley-Pryce, author of "GOD'S COUNTRY", a chilling dark fiction centered around Guy Flood's return to the Black Country for his twin brother's funeral. As secrets unfold, a mysterious and all-seeing narrator takes control, creating a truly atmospheric reading experience.

Chris Parker presents "NAMELESS LAKE", a thought-provoking exploration of gender, desire, and friendship. This novel delves into the lives of Emma and Madryn as they strive to break free from their seaside hometown. As adulthood sets in, Emma yearns for a connection beyond her family's confines, leading her to discover new possibilities within herself.

Lastly, Livi Michael brings us "RESERVOIR", a compelling story set at the International Conference Centre in Geneva. Hannah Rossier, a psychotherapist with a keen interest in memory, is confronted by her past when she unexpectedly encounters Neville Weir. As the conference unfolds, Hannah's dark past resurfaces, delving into the complexities of memory and its impact on the present.

The event will take place at Blackwell's Bookshop on November 30, 2023. Doors open at 18:30, and the event commences at 18:45. Tickets are available for £3.60.
