She candidly reveals the struggles and triumphs of finding her voice and embracing her own terms of expression. Ani Gjika, an award-winning poet and literary translator, has written eight books and chapbooks of poetry. She is a distinguished graduate of Boston University and currently teaches social studies and literature at Framingham High School. Joining Gjika in conversation is Yasmine Ameli, a talented Iranian American writer and teacher.
