Art Connection + Soundbath: An intimate encounter with Art is an immersive event taking place in Singapore on January 20, 2024. Held at the tranquil studio in Peace Centre on Sophia Road, this unique experience invites participants to explore the profound connection between art and sound. Led by experienced facilitators, the session delves into the power of art and sound to evoke deep emotions and create a sense of tranquility and inspiration. Art Connection is a guided session designed to help participants truly "feel" and see art. By tapping into their felt sense experience, attendees can gain a deeper understanding and meaningful connection with the artwork and the space. The facilitator, Melanie Gooi, is a practicing visual artist who aims to inspire self-reconnection through her art. With over ten years of mindfulness practice, Melanie encourages participants to explore their own creativity and authenticity. Following the Soundbath, a 20-minute immersive experience that activates the inner space, participants will engage in the Art Connection activity for 30-40 minutes. The Soundbath is curated by Jean Reiki, an experiential producer and sound curator known as Mind of the Cosmos. Jean combines natural sound recordings, binaural beats, and instrumentals to create captivating sonic tapestries that enhance the listener's connection to the natural world. To fully enjoy the event, it is recommended to wear loose and comfortable clothing. Participants should also bring their own water bottle.
