The Oxford Shakespeare Festival, in its 16th year, will run from June 22 to August 15, 2026. This summer, enjoy three spectacular open-air theatre productions in the courtyards of Oxford Castle and Prison. Presented by the Wild Goose Theatre (formerly the Tomahawk Theatre), BMH Productions, and the Siege Theatre, these summer productions, located in the heart of Oxford, bring Shakespeare's classic plays to the stage. Shakespeare's *Julius Caesar* – June 22 – July 4 Amid the decline of the Roman Republic and the consolidation of Julius Caesar's power, an assassination sparks a struggle for Rome's future. *Macbeth* – July 6 – August 1, 2026 Transforms Oxford Castle and Prison into a world of ambition, prophecy, and bloody consequences.
