About the Author Maria Rosan Mestre believes imagination should be protected and defended in all children with any language. Born in Venezuela, she is a linguist passionate about reading, writing, translating, and teaching world languages. She runs Spanish for Entities, a language institute. Maria Rosana received an MA in Literature from the Universidade Federal do Parana (Brazil,2013) , and a postgraduate degree in Creative Communication from Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain,2008), and a BA in PRint Journalism fron the Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacin (Venezuela,2006). She is the author of Trato Feito and Carlota Shares Her Secret. She lives in Indiana with her daughter Amelie, her husband, her mom and a puppy named Rio.  About the Mini Author Amelie Mestre-Matumoto is 8 years old and likes to make art with materials she finds at home and wherever she walks. She has a furry four-legged brother, the dog Rio. She loves to read, sing and dance.  If a child speaks more than one language and uses one more than the other, they should still save both.  About the Illustrator Marcus V Koshiro Matumoto likes to create one-eye characters named Monolho, and also likes building, fixing, and flipping properties, street art, adn crafting withhis daughter, Amelia. Illustrator of 0 Monstro do Armario, Nossas Diferencas, Trato Feito, La Aventura Nunca Imaginada de un Lapiz. He earned a post-graduation from Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain,2008), a BA in Advertising and Communications from Unibrasil (Brazil,2006), a Technical Degree in Industrial Design (Brazil,2002) from Ensitec, and an Associate Degree in Environmental Studies (Brazil,2004) by SENAI. As a muli-cultural person, he enjoyed illustrating this book.
