Balancing in Freedom: A Performance EventWritten and performed by Iddo OberskiCreative mentor and dramaturg: Mark KyddYou are invited to witness a performance of this new theatre piece. The event will last about 75 minutes and there will be some time afterwards for those who can and want to stay, to discuss the piece, provide feedback and ask questions. Balancing in Freedom draws on a range of forms of expression to share a deeply personal story of disability, persecution and freedom. It includes spoken word, movement, poetry, visual art, eurythmy, magic, song, puppetry. The writing of the script and staging of these shows are funded by Creative Scotland. This is a ticketed event and prior booking is required. Please do not turn up without having booked. Donations at booking are welcome and will be passed on to the Salisbury Centre. These may be made through the card reader at the entrance or online. Please use as payment reference 'Balancing'. The Salisbury Centre Art room is on the ground floor of the Centre and is fully wheelchair accessible. Accessible bathroom facilities are also on the ground floor.
