Piece of Cake Production Company, a leading Black-led live events creative hub, is dedicated to championing and creating opportunities for artists from the global majority.

During this event, you will have the opportunity to hear about Piece of Cake Production Company's post-university journey and their remarkable success. Learn how they established their production company and gain valuable insights on how to navigate the creative industries as individuals from the global majority.

Piece of Cake Productions is an Associate Company of the esteemed National Youth Theatre of GB and has also been recognized as Lead Artists at Bush Theatre. Additionally, they are part of Somerset House's esteemed Black Business Residency Cohort 4. Co-founded by Shakira Newton and Ibraheem Toure, the company brings together a diverse range of talents and experiences.

Shakira Newton, a queer, working-class artist of Bajan and Irish heritage, has achieved great acclaim as an actor, writer, director, poet, and producer since graduating from drama school. Her debut play, "Things I Can Laugh About Now," had two sold-out runs at Brixton House Theatre and earned two nominations at the Black British Theatre Awards.

Ibraheem Toure, a multi-talented artist of Trinidadian heritage, has made waves as an actor, director, facilitator, and Steel Pan musician. He has performed with the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company and showcased his talent as the Duke Orsino in the classic play "Twelfth Night."

We made a dedicated trip and had a lovely few hours. There was lots to see with split levels that kept your interest. The penguins were nice, the octopus made an appearance and we would have loved to see more of the otters., we see the otters.. There is plenty to see, read and touch. My grand daughter loved it all, the turtle in the tunnel is beautiful . It was clean, and we had a great time, would definitely go back, staff were helpful,its really nice and deserve to be visited again and again.

For a smaller town the Art Museum as great. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it if you are traveling to Birmingham. Make sure to call ahead to see if they are open.

My friends cried and shouted that they must come to the stadium to check in! It is indeed extraordinary. As soon as you enter, you can feel the grandeur of the building and the dynamic streamline. It is worth a visit. The photos are particularly grand and interesting!

Chinatown in Birmingham is considered to be better in the UK, after Chinatown in London. It is in the city center of Birmingham and the traffic is very convenient. There are food everywhere, and it is very authentic and tastes good. If you have been playing in the UK for a long time and are not used to eating, come to Chinatown to solve the problem.
