This exciting evening will feature a reading and discussion with the acclaimed author of the international bestseller, If I Survive You. Escoffery, a 2014 Anderson Center artist-in-residence, will share excerpts from his linked story collection, which follows the journey of Jamaican immigrant Trelawny and his family as they navigate life in Miami. Praised by The New York Times as a "gifted, sure-footed storyteller," Escoffery's work has captivated readers and critics alike. His book has been named a 'best' book of 2022 by Entertainment Weekly, TIME, Oprah Daily, and more. Tickets for this event are $15 for the public and $10 for Anderson Center members and youth under 18. Don't miss this opportunity to hear from one of today's most exciting literary voices.
