Join the Broken to Brilliant - Empowerment Through Art exhibition, a celebration of the strength and resilience of domestic violence survivors, in honor of International Women's Day. This inspiring event will take place on March 8, 2024, at 6pm, at the AFTM Gallery & Studios in Fortitude Valley, QLD. Thanks to the support of the Queensland Government's 2023 Investing in Queensland Women grant, this exhibition and the accompanying art therapy workshops have been made possible.

Through the powerful medium of art, survivors have expressed their journeys of recovery, healing, and rebuilding. These art pieces, created during art therapy workshops, serve as a cathartic expression of their resilience and bravery. By participating in this event, you'll have the opportunity to witness these extraordinary artworks firsthand, and be inspired by the survivors' stories of strength.

As we commemorate International Women's Day 2024, we aim to celebrate diversity and inspire empowerment, as we collectively strive for women's equality and a world free of domestic violence. This event is a collaboration between Broken to Brilliant, Sandbag, and Strong Women Talking, in partnership with the program led by Kerry Tuck, Art Psychotherapist at Weird Fishh Health Services.
