Join Scott Wells for a daylong immersion into Contact Improvisation at The Center SF in San Francisco on Saturday, September 23rd from 11:00am to 6:00pm. This Contact Improv Journey with Scott Wells offers a unique opportunity to explore bodywork, contact skills, and longer passages of exploration. Scott Wells, who has been practicing contact improv since 1981 and has an MFA in Dance, will guide participants through a series of favorite contact exercises and current curiosities. Drawing from decades of investigation and indulgence, Scott will use bodywork and contact to enhance listening, connection, ease, and pleasure. Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to expand from duet work into group constellations and dancing.

This immersive experience is designed to help you develop your contact skills, including falling, supporting through structure, rolling point, listening, and feeling the ground through your partner. Scott Wells, who has taught thousands of contact improv classes and performed in festivals across Europe, will bring his expertise and passion to this workshop. The journey will be guided, but each participant will have their own unique experience intersecting with others' journeys along the way.
