What is Creative Youth Council? Designed for and with young people aged 14-18. All sessions are free and take place on the second Saturday of every month, 12-4pm. We invite young people to develop new creative projects and events, with the chance to roam our fields, use our ceramics and recording studio and work with artists on lots of different projects. You could create a new podcast or soundscape, make clay sculptures, or develop new events and festivals, at Wysing, for other young people across Cambridgeshire to enjoy. Join our creative group meeting monthly on Saturdays to: Collaborate and experiment with artists and meet new friends in a safe and supportive space.Let your imagination run free - share your ideas and express yourself with exciting art projects.Get involved in arts opportunities including creating events, festivals and resources as well as your own art work.Build transferable teamwork and leadership skills to support college, university or job applications.How can I get the bursary to attend? As part of the Creative Youth Council, we are able to offer a bursary of £15 to support young people’s attendance at the sessions. This is open to anyone who feels this bursary will help them to attend. For example, to cover the cost of petrol to get to Wysing or help pay towards bringing a packed lunch. You will be sent information on this when you register. You will normally receive the funds within 2 weeks of attending each session. Please note: Attendees cannot receive the bursary offer as well as free taxi transport, please pick only one of these offers. Lunch & Refreshments You will need to bring a packed lunch with you. Please note there are no shops nearby. Drinks and snacks will be provided during the sessions. Access Information Please get in touch with us to let us know if there is something you need to be able to participate in Creative Youth Council, by emailing info@wysingartscentre.org. Transport Information & Timings Free travel is provided from Cambourne, Cambridge and Huntingdon with DBS checked taxi drivers. This must be booked on Eventbrite by 12midday on the Wednesday before the session. Please note: if you require transport but find it difficult to attend from these locations, please get in touch with us so we can discuss potential travel options or other ways to support your attendance. We recommend young people are taken to the transport location by parent/guardian. Please specify the contact number on the booking form to share with the taxi company on the day of travel (parent/guardian if they will be there to meet the travel, or young person if they are travelling independently). After booking you will be emailed transport details and information on how to receive the bursary. Wheelchair accessible transport - We can offer wheelchair accessible transport. If you require wheelchair accessible transport, please tick the box on the ticket checkout page and we will be in touch by email to confirm arrangements with you. It is a lovely and unique place. There are lots of famous attractions on the campus. However, if you want to visit them, you have to pay the entry fee to each college you want to access or pay to take the boat. I would strongly recommend taking the boat if possible because you can see the most historic and famous part of the school.

Having a boat trip in Cambridge can give a good experience of punting on the River Cam and also get lots of interesting stories about each college at the University of Cambridge. However, the cost of it is quite expensive.

There is a statue of Henry VIII at the entrance of Trinity College. There is an apple tree on the green lawn at the entrance of the college, which is the source of Newton&#39;s law of &quot;universal gravitation&quot;. When you enter the Great Court of the college, the magnificent architecture brings a sense of awe. In the lobby of the church are jade statues of famous graduates from Trinity College, including Newton, Bacon, Tennyson and others.

The Bridge of Sighs is a covered bridge in Cambridge, England. It belongs to St. John&#39;s College, Cambridge University. It was built in 1831 and spans the River Cam. The architect was Henry Hutchinson. It is named after the Bridge of Sighs in Venice.
